Chen Hao


Chen Hao is a Chinese actress and the vice chair of Screen Actor Guild of China Television Artists Association. She was born in Qingdao, Shandong Province on December 9, 1979 and admitted to the Acting Department of Central Academy of Drama as an undergraduate in 1997.

In 1988, she took up acting and was cast in the film Postmen in the Mountains; in 2000, she starred in Lv Buwei: Hero in Times of Disorder and Li Wei the Magistrate; in 2001, she became a roaring success with her superb acting in the role of a sensuous woman given to exploiting the males in the Pink Ladies and won the Most Popular Actress Award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award. In 2003, she starred as A’zi, one of the heroines in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils released by CCTV; in 2005, she played a lead role in the television series Wo Ai Hedong Shi; in 2008, she starred in Wanton and Luxurious Living and received a special jury prize at the 4th Seoul International Drama Awards.

In 2010, she starred as Diao Chan in the Three Kingdoms; in the same year, she married to Liu Haifeng and gave birth to a girl in May 2011. In 2012, Chen Hao returned and was cast in Editorial Department Story directed by Zheng Xiaolong. In 2015, the modern drama Daijialaoba starring Chen Hao was broadcasted by Tianjin TV Channel and Hubei Shangxing TV Channel.
