Zhu Yuanyuan


Zhu Yuanyuan is an actress in Mainland China born on March 18, 1974 in Qingdao, Shandong Province and graduated from Qingdao Art School in 1992 and the Acting Department ofthe Central Academy of Drama with a bachelor degree in 1997.

In 1995, Zhu Yuanyuan made her debut on screen with the role of a baby-sitter in Ground Covered with Chicken Feathers. In 1998, she carried off the Outstanding Actress Award of the 10thBeijing TV Art Chunyan Awardand the Audience’s Favorite Actress of the 18thGolden Eagle Awardfor her performance in Happy Life of Talkative Zhang Damin. In 2006, Zhu Yuanyuan had a role in Nine Daughters in My Family and won the Audience’s Favorite Actress of theGolden Eagle Award again. In the same year, she won the Golden Phoenix Award of China Film Society of Performing Arts for her performance in the Film The Forest Ranger. In 2010, Zhu Yuanyuan was nominated as the Best Supporting Actressin the 21stGolden Roosters and Hundred Flowers Film Festival for her performance in Ocean Heaven.
